Strategic HR Planning Helps Senior HR Professionals learn how to align human resources and review critical employee programs in order to achieve organizational business goals. Audience Participation required. 1-2 Hours
Labor Relations:
Why Employees Join Unions Designed for nonunion organizations. This session is designed to teach managers and executives the reasons employees join unions and the types of managers employees complain about the most. This seminar is about the importance of workforce development and good management practices in order to remain "union free". 1 Hour
Labor and the Law - A review of the NLRA and LMRA Explains the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees under current labor laws. This session is good for training managers and supervisors on the organizing process, elections, unfair labor practices, different types of picketing and the collective bargaining process. 1/2 Day Workshop recommended, but can be shortened.
Employee Harassment:
Harassment, What it Can Cost You (Management Perspective) This session explains to managers and supervisors the different types of harassment that occurs in the workplace and how it impacts the bottom line. Also addresses bullying which is fairly common in the workplace. 1-1/2 hours
Conducting an Effective Workplace Investigation. (Management Only) Provides a detailed explanation of how a sexual harassment investigation should be conducted, questions to ask, sample letters to witnesses, the accused, and the accuser, what to include in a report of findings to executive management. It is recommended you combine this session with the one above and conduct a 1/2 Day workshop. 1 Hour
Harassment, What Is it? What Can I do? (For an Hourly/non management workforce) Explains harassing behaviors and what employees can do to address offensive co-workers/supervisor behaviors. Reviews YOUR Company Policy on harassment and the method/avenue for reporting harassment. 1-1/4 Hours

Communication is KEY! Designed for Executive/Senior Management Team. How and When to Communicate. This workshop focuses on critical times when Good Communication is Key to your organization's success (i.e. Layoffs, Restructuring, Mergers and Acquisitions, Disasters/Emergencies, and Change Management. Includes role play exercises, some exercises will be video taped. 1/2 Day
